U.S. hospital seeks donations to operate baby with severe malformation


A non-profit foundation of the Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami (USA) on Tuesday urged U.S. $ 95,000 in donations to cover the costs of operating a Haitian child seven months experiencing a severe congenital malformation. The child, Wideberla Pierre, was born with congenital lymphangioma an unusual anomaly consisting of malformation of the lymphatic vessels and produces an abnormal growth of body tissues.
