A couple of the town of Paekakariki, New Zealand, died in a suicide pact after one has been diagnosed with terminal cancer. The case occurred in March 2012, but was only released to the press of the country on Monday, according to the New Zealand Herald.
Adrian Webster, 71, and woman, Marei Webster, 76, took his own life, so do not formalized by the investigators of the incident, after discovering that Adrian had a few months to live due to stomach cancer.
"The Family Marei heard comments concern over the deteriorating health of Adrian. Said she could not live without it," said Col. Garry Evans, responsible for the investigation.
"All the evidence shows that they were a couple always together. He showed no anger or anxiety (with the disease), or show intent to kill, according to the community," added the colonel.
